A Thousand Splendid Suns

A Thousand Splendid Suns – Khaled Hosseini

I should write a review, right? How can I, though? Sometimes, the human emotion defeats the written word and renders it unnecessary. This is definitely one of those times. This is a book I read every now and again and the book that destroys me every time I do so. So much loss, so many missed opportunities, so many “If only’s”. There’s a plethora of thoughts that keep racing through my mind every time I read this book, or think about it, or simply spot its covers on my shelf, but though I’ve tried writing a review about it many times, I realise now that no matter what I write, it can never fully explain what I feel. So, I’ll just leave it at that.
